Briton Signs!!

Briton Signs!!

Our Another Day Men’s Mental Health Group are proud to Announce the signing of Cronulla Sharks Gun Back Rower Briton Nikora as our next Ambassador!!

Briton has played over 100 Games for The Sharks and also proudly Represented The New Zealand Kiwis and The Māori All Stars.

I had the pleasure of coaching Briton in A Grade (2016) and it was clear to see then that he had the work ethic and determination to make it not only as a Professional athlete, but also a very impressive, respectful Young man which is a credit to his Family.

Briton is now in his 6th Season in First Grade and has taken a senior role in the Sharks team.
We will look to tap into Briton’s experience in not only Professional sport, but also everyday life and use the same skills he uses to navigate different situations in our life.

Briton totally understands the importance of Good Mental Health as had his own challenges when trying to break into First Grade, living away from his family, he was constantly tested and forced to dig deep to chase a dream.
His Resilience is something to be admired as a lot of young players struggle to adapt to life away from home at such an early age.

Briton’s mental strength in those situations will come in handy when talking to members of the Another Day Group.

Briton has expressed a keen interest to get involved asap in our Another Day walks and events, So make sure you say Hi when you see him!

We Wish Briton the best of luck for the upcoming season with The Sharks and The Kiwis 🇳🇿.
