Walk Another Day are proud to say we have signed Scott Sorensen as our First Offical Ambassador!!

Scott is a 3 x premiership winning player with the NRL Club The Penrith Panthers 🐾
He has also Represented the New Zealand National Team 🇳🇿

‘Soro’ also played for Cronulla Caringbah, a Junior League club in the Sutherland Shire competition.
A competition that so many of our members have been involved with.

When approached about being an ambassador, Soro jumped at the chance.
He understood the importance of a positive community for men in which they could feel supported regardless of what was happening in their life.
The best thing, Soro wants to be involved in that process.

“I have a desire to be apart of Walk Another day and be involved in a group focused around men’s mental health. I want to help support Dom and Walk Another Day, that it’s ok to ask for support and your mental health is just as important as your physical health”.

He wants to use his learnings as a professional athlete and pass that information onto our members of our group.

As was his desire to be involved in a group that focused on Men’s Mental Health, especially a group that involves some of his childhood mates from his hometown.

With Soro joining Walk Another Day, it shows that Men’s Mental Health is a  prominent issue that needs all our support, no matter your standing In the community.

Look out for Soro to attend a walk or event in the future, introduce yourself, he’s more than happy to have a chat!!!!
